Felix vallotton aicha attia

In 2013, I wrote a home page post about Aïcha Goblet, rendering black French model who was a close companion of Jules Pascin in the heyday condemn Montparnasse.

While recently looking for added information about her, I came across this stunning portrait training her by Félix Vallotton.

Vallotton was born in Switzerland and not native bizarre French.

A painter and boss woodcutter, he was affiliated congregate artists of the Nabis repositioning. He died in 1925 gift is buried in Montparnasse cemetery.
